Shoushan Zoo
Kaohsiung Shoushan Zoo is the largest public zoo in the south. It is under the jurisdiction of the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau and is one of the three municipal zoos in Taiwan. It is second only to the Taipei City Zoo in size. In 2022, the animals' homes and outdoor activity spaces were improved, and an animal-friendly aerial observation corridor was set up, allowing Kaohsiung residents and tourists to observe the daily lives of cute animals up close from different angles and with low interference. It is an educational place suitable for parent-child leisure, outdoor teaching, and ecological science popularization.
